Photography Lighting

WayStation

This composition used oblique lighting against a sheet of curved black card, sometimes known as an infinity curve.

This reduces the illumination of the background allowing the model to stand out.

Experiment with both the position of the camera and the lighting used.

Getting down low will alter the eye-line and perhaps improve the perspective.

Natural lighting from an overcast sky, a torch highlighting a particular feature or reflected light from a sheet of white card will all change the appearance of the model.
